Job summary

Savills Portugal is seeking a Senior Accountant for its Lisbon office to reinforce the Finance Department. The role covers monthly and annual closings, tax compliance, and interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting, 8+ years in a similar role, and proficiency in MS Office and Dynamics 365. Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills in Portuguese and English are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Certified accountant is valued.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly and annual closings and financial statements.
• Ensure tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Support budgets and periodic reviews.
• Input accounting data accurately and assist with system implementations.
• Lead junior team members and coordinate with stakeholders.
