Sysmatch is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, operate, and evolve scalable Kubernetes-based platforms for multinational clients. You will drive platform automation using Terraform and Helm, implement GitOps with ArgoCD, and contribute to security and reliability.

You will work with cross-functional teams to shape the technical roadmap, mentor colleagues, and operate in an international, dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration.

Qualificações

• Several years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Experience writing and maintaining Helm charts and/or Kustomize configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with OKD/OpenShift and platform automation.
• Proficiency with Terraform for automation and configuration management.
• Designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows, ideally with ArgoCD.
• Programming skills in Go, Python, or Bash for automation.
• Strong knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and tracing.
• Understanding security standards and compliance for platforms.
• Experience mentoring teams and contributing to roadmaps.
• Excellent written and spoken English communications.

About the Role: Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Required Skills:

• Several years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or infrastructure-related roles, with the ability to design, operate, and evolve Kubernetes-based platforms at scale;
• At least 1 year of hands‑on daily production experience with Kubernetes, including cluster lifecycle management, ingress controllers, service meshes, and cert‑manager;
• Experience writing and maintaining Helm charts and/or Kustomize configurations;
• Hands‑on experience with OKD or OpenShift;
• Strong experience with Terraform and Helm for platform automation and configuration management;
• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows, ideally using ArgoCD;
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash for automation and platform tooling;
• Strong knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, including experience designing and implementing SLI/SLO frameworks for distributed systems;
• Good understanding of security standards, platform security best practices, and compliance requirements;
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to technical roadmaps;
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a structured, autonomous, and reliable working style;
• Comfortable working in multinational and multicultural teams;
• Very good written and spoken English skills;
• Experience writing and maintaining ADRs, runbooks, and platform design documentation.
