Expleo is seeking an experienced Senior Java Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex Java microservices within a security-forward environment in Portugal. You will own IAM architecture (Keycloak, Okta, OIDC) and drive architectural decisions across engineering teams.

You will mentor junior and mid-level developers, promote secure coding practices, and contribute to ADRs and runbooks, ensuring scalable, reliable software delivery.

Qualificações

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience.
• Proven expertise: Java, Microservices, and Software Architecture.
• Experience with IAM and federated identity providers (Keycloak/Okta/OIDC).
• Strong background in secure coding, code reviews and architectural decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and implementation of complex Java Microservices.
• Define and promote architectural patterns, coding standards and security best practices.
• Take ownership of IAM architecture including Keycloak, Okta and OIDC.
• Drive technical discussions with Product Owners, Architects and engineering teams.
• Identify and solve performance, scalability and security challenges.
• Lead code reviews and promote engineering quality standards.
• Mentor Junior and Mid-Level developers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (ADRs, runbooks).
