Thought Machine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Infrastructure in Lisbon. You will own building reliable, scalable backend and frontend tooling, and deploy secure systems at scale for leading financial clients.

The role demands 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python or Golang, observability tooling, Kafka, and container orchestration in cloud environments. Lisbon-based with four days onsite weekly.

Qualificações

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience.
• Experience building production-ready infrastructure tooling with Python or Golang.
• Familiarity with observability tools, databases, event streaming and container orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD systems.

Responsabilidades

• Support the engineering team in building reliable, scalable applications.
• Help design and build tools to make services scalable and highly available.
• Develop observability and orchestration tooling for deployments.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, backup and redundancy tooling and strategy.
• Assist in improving the quality of our codebase by building new tools and processes.
