We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst / Business Analyst to join a high-impact digital transformation project within the public sector. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements;
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities;
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation;
Model and optimize business processes using BPMN and UML;
Support decision-making through structured analysis and documentation;
Collaborate with development, architecture, and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle;
Define, execute, and support functional and user acceptance testing (UAT);
Contribute to system integration initiatives involving REST and SOAP APIs;
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field;
Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Functional and Systems Analysis;
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role;
Certification in ITIL Foundation, CBAP, or an equivalent certification;
Solid experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation;
Hands-on experience with BPMN and UML process modeling;
Experience working with REST and SOAP integrations;
Experience producing functional specifications and business analysis documentation;
Proven involvement in testing, validation, and acceptance processes.
Experience with CRM and ERP platforms;
Familiarity with Salesforce;
Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Power Platform;
Knowledge of BPM and Lean methodologies;
Experience working on public sector projects;
Understanding of Open Data initiatives and GDPR compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities;
Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams;
Proactive mindset and attention to detail;
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
