Job summary

UMO is seeking a senior fullstack engineer to own core applications and microservices across its modern money platform. You will work across Go and TypeScript, building resilient services and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional squads.

You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, implement robust tests, and uphold high standards for security and reliability in a fintech environment. Remote-friendly with offices in Lisbon, Dubai, Kyiv, and Lviv.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a senior engineer with hands-on experience in web apps and backend microservices.
• Proficient across modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems and Go/Node.js backends.
• Experience in fintech, digital assets, or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of fullstack services and microservices.
• Design and consume gRPC, HTTP, and WebSocket APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to align requirements.
• Maintain code quality via reviews and refactoring.
• Drive architecture decisions and test coverage across squads.
