Job summary

UMO is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to own core fullstack apps and microservices across our modern money platform. You will design APIs (gRPC/HTTP), manage data across PostgreSQL/Redis, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to deliver high-impact features end-to-end.

You’ll work across Go/Node.js backends and React frontend, with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) and strong emphasis on observability and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on fullstack experience in web applications and microservices.
• Proficiency with JS/TS ecosystems (React) and Go/Node backend.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed databases.
• Experience in fintech or regulated environments.
• Containerized deployment with Docker/Kubernetes and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own core fullstack applications and microservices end-to-end.
• Design and integrate APIs (GRPC, HTTP, WebSockets).
• Ensure data integrity across PostgreSQL, Redis, and streaming layers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and DevOps to ship features.
• Maintain code quality through reviews and refactoring.
• Leverage AI tools in daily workflows.
