Tekever in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage electronics components purchasing, PCBA and cabling, coordinating with suppliers and internal customers to ensure on-time delivery and quality. You will analyze markets, negotiate contracts, and drive efficiency across the supply base.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a results-oriented mindset, and fluency in Portuguese and English (C2).

Qualificações

• Minimum education: High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in areas such as Management, Electronics, Mechanics or similar.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Procurement and/or Engineering roles (preferably in Industrial or Production sectors).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Language requirements: Advanced command of Portuguese and English, with proven proficiency at C2 level in both languages.
• Proactive, dynamic, and with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Advanced knowledge about electronics, specifically PCBA and harnesses/cabling.
• Extensive contact with suppliers and internal clients following up order status.
• Negotiation and management of purchases, tenders for the acquisition of materials and services; proposal analysis, and preparation of recommendations based on results obtained.
• Negotiation and management of supply agreements.
• Market research to identify and select potential suppliers.
• Review and follow up on purchase requests for materials and service execution.
• Research alternative suppliers to reduce costs, improve quality and service, and optimize processes.
