Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems, leveraging Jenkins and GitLab CI.

You will automate infrastructure with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible, develop automated tests, and build observability dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus.

The role requires knowledge of Yocto/Buildroot and Zephyr RTOS, excellent English, and the right to work in Portugal with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools and IaC.
• Experience with embedded systems is highly valued.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (SonarQube, pytest).
• Experience with observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Familiarity with embedded Linux builds (Yocto, Buildroot) and Zephyr RTOS.
• Fluent English and right to work in Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Automate infrastructure with IaC using OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop automated testing strategies including QEMU emulators and HIL test benches.
• Build observability dashboards with Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Ensure secure software supply chains and progressive delivery with rollbacks.
• Contribute to the build and maintenance of Linux images (Yocto/Buildroot) and real-time firmware (Zephyr).
