ADVANS Portugal is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer for our Lisbon offices, in a full-time hybrid role. You will design, deploy and optimize CI/CD platforms, automate infrastructure, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with embedded and application teams.

The role focuses on scalable, secure delivery, monitoring, and DevSecOps practices across varied client projects. Required: Linux administration, Docker/Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/Azure ACL), strong English, and a CS-related

Qualificações

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, including proficient administration skills, image creation, and understanding best practices for image size and container efficiency.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools/platforms and principles.
• Experience with running production workloads (e.g., monitoring, capacity planning, new service deployments, debugging).
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, manage, and optimize CI/CD platforms for clients in various technical frameworks.
• Develop solutions to supervise, automate, improve performance and scalability of infrastructures.
• Support the use of these platforms by ensuring good handling by developers and the use of best practices.
• Propose and implement solutions to optimize quality, development time and security of projects.
• Conduct detailed monitoring of technical progress and innovations around DevOps and DevSecOps.
• Collaborate with embedded and application development teams.
• Mentor junior colleagues and encourage their growth and knowledge.
