Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems. You will automate infrastructure with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible, develop testing for emulators and HIL benches, and build observability dashboards using Grafana/Prometheus/OpenTelemetry.

Experience with Yocto/Buildroot and Zephyr RTOS is highly valued. Fluent English and a Portugal work permit are required, with a hybrid work model (2/3 days onsite).

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer with hands-on CI/CD experience.
• Strong expertise in Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Nexus; IaC with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible.
• Embedded systems exposure is highly valued; familiarity with QEMU and HIL testing helps.
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry) is required.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux builds (Yocto/Buildroot) and Zephyr RTOS is a plus.
• Fluent English and valid work permit for Portugal are mandatory; integrity matters.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC and config management.
• Develop automated testing strategies for emulators and hardware.
• Build observability dashboards and real-time monitoring stacks.
• Ensure secure software supply chain and progressive delivery (A/B, OTA).
• Contribute to Linux images (Yocto/Buildroot) and firmware (Zephyr).
