Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems, leveraging Jenkins, GitLab CI and Nexus. You will drive IaC using OpenTofu and Terraform, and orchestrate tests with QEMU, HIL benches and SonarQube.

You will contribute to observability with Grafana, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry, ensure secure software supply chains, and participate in hybrid work arrangements with two days on site weekly in Portugal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer with embedded systems exposure.
• Strong CI/CD orchestration using Jenkins, GitLab CI and Nexus.
• Proficient in IaC with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with automated testing: QEMU, HIL benches and related QA tools.
• Familiarity with observability stacks: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry.
• Embedded Linux builds: Yocto/Buildroot; Zephyr RTOS knowledge.
• Fluent English; right to work in Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC (OpenTofu/Terraform) and Ansible.
• Develop automated testing strategies including emulators and real hardware.
• Establish observability dashboards and real-time monitoring solutions.
• Enforce secure software supply chain practices and progressive delivery.
• Contribute to Linux image builds (Yocto/Buildroot) and Zephyr RTOS firmware.
