Job summary

VW Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] is seeking a seasoned DevOps Platform Engineer to enable cloud development across product teams, drive CI/CD practices, and lead platform engineering initiatives. The role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, automation, and robust observability in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with AWS, IaC, and monitoring tools to improve efficiency, security and availability of our CI/CD enablers platform.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience working as a DevOps or a similar role.
• Experience with AWS and IaC tools (ideally AWS CDK or CloudFormation).
• Experience with observability (monitoring, logging, APM).
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and related tools such as GitLab CI/CD, or SonarQube.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Coding skills in Python and Bash scripting for automation tasks, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure management.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
