Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Delphi Software Engineer based in Portugal to join a fully remote, international engineering team. You will develop and enhance enterprise Delphi applications for media and advertising technology, focusing on features, performance, and scalable architecture.

Join a collaborative group working with Product, QA and Documentation to deliver robust releases and continually improve existing products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years with Delphi 10 or later.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, OOD and OOA.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN or Mercurial).
• Familiarity with N-Tier architecture.
• Strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience applying design patterns to codebases.
• Testing, debugging and troubleshooting complex software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new features based on requirements and customer requests.
• Improve architecture and design for performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Develop enterprise applications using Delphi with high code quality.
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA and Documentation to deliver releases.
• Maintain and evolve existing products with other engineers.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply object-oriented principles and design patterns to codebases.
• Test and debug to resolve complex software issues.
• Contribute to architectural improvements aligned with business needs.
• Share knowledge and support continuous product improvement.
