Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking a Senior DBA — Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server for hybrid work in Lisbon or Porto. You will manage robust database environments, ensure high availability, and support critical production systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a DBA, deep Oracle and SQL Server knowledge, and experience with RAC/Data Guard. We offer a health plan, vacation, extra days, meal allowance, training budget, and a collaborative, growth‑oriented team.

• 5+ years of experience in a senior DBA role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard (Active Data Guard).

Role: Senior DBA — Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server

Location: Hybrid, Lisbon OR Porto, Portugal

Required skills:

• 5+ Years of experience in a similar role
• Professional experience as a Senior DBA
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard / Active Data Guard
• Knowledge of SQL Server Always On
• Experience in highly critical production environments
• Experience in High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL and/or T-SQL
• Good problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
