99X Europe is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Machine Learning solutions in Lisbon. You will design intelligent architectures and guide teams from experimentation to production deployment.

The role blends data science, AI engineering, and technical leadership with a focus on RAG, Large Language Models, and modern ML practices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to delivering AI-powered applications.

Qualificações

• BSc or MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Proven experience delivering AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Generative AI, ML, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience designing solutions based on RAG, AI Agents, and modern AI frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of Prompt Engineering, Model Evaluation, and Fine-Tuning techniques.
• Experience building and deploying production-ready AI applications.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent in English.
