Ams Osram is seeking a Generative AI & Data Science Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions across the business. You will work on ML, LLMs, AI agents, and Copilot-based experiences, collaborating with IT, data, and software teams to deliver measurable impact.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning, hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, and proficiency in Python, with familiarity in Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning, including data exploration, feature engineering, statistical modeling, and model evaluation.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions such as forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, classification, or optimization models.
• Experience working with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management, and operationalization of AI solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and experience writing clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including AI, data, security, and identity services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Research, design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Build AI-powered applications, AI agents, and Copilot experiences using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI technologies.
• Design and optimize LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and improve AI systems through structured testing, quality measurement, safety guardrails, and hallucination reduction techniques.
• Develop and operationalize production-ready AI solutions by applying best practices in MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, model lifecycle management, and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and software developers to transform business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
• Ensure secure and responsible AI adoption by implementing enterprise security, data protection, identity management, and compliance requirements.
• Create best practices, enablement materials, and technical guidance to accelerate AI adoption across the organization.
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping teams identify, evaluate, and successfully implement AI opportunities.

In this role, you will design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions that address real business challenges and deliver measurable impact across the company.
