A consulting firm is seeking a Senior Data & BI Reporting Lead to develop a global client data platform remotely from Portugal. You will lead a team, ensure quality reporting solutions, and translate technical requirements. The ideal candidate has 7–9 years of experience in BI, strong skills in data visualization, and a passion for data excellence.

We are looking for a Senior Data & BI Reporting Lead to join our Client's team on a remote working model from Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take accountability for the build and maintenance of a global client data platform, coordinating across organizations to ensure complete access to data and integration of technology into client operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of technical data specialists responsible for data engineering, modeling, and visualization.
• Own reporting and data provisioning solutions, ensuring quality, adoption, and stakeholder alignment.
• Translate client and media team needs into structured technical requirements and prioritize them in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design and scope technical solutions, estimate workloads, and manage development.
• Provide strategic coordination across the project lifecycle—from requirements gathering, to deployment, to ongoing operations.
• Partner with analytics stakeholders to incorporate best practice metrics that align with client business goals.
• Represent client needs in technology steering groups, influencing the ongoing development of supporting infrastructure.
• Provide support and training to reporting solution users, empowering them to be self-sufficient.

Required Qualifications:

• 7–9 years of experience in business intelligence or reporting, ideally within a media agency, publisher, ad tech, or client marketing environment.
• Proven expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Data Studio.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data management technologies, ETL processes, and data infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms and the data they generate (Google Marketing Platform, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
• Experience in setting technical strategy, managing feature roadmaps, and leading resource delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate non-technical use cases into technical requirements.
• Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Passion for data excellence, integrity, and delivering impactful solutions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Storage, Data Prep, BigQuery, AirFlow, Data Studio) or Microsoft Azure.
• General understanding of data tracking and exchange in digital advertising.
