DataSmart, a Portuguese consulting company with over 20 years of experience, seeks a Senior Data Analyst for a hybrid Porto-based role. You will translate business requirements into scalable Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions, design enterprise reports, and develop KPI frameworks using DAX.

You will manage Power BI environments, implement Row-Level Security, and collaborate with Data Engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable analytics across geographies.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic modelling.
• Solid SQL and Power Query/M skills.
• Proven experience with star-schema, fact, and dimension modelling.
• Experience managing enterprise Power BI environments, including Workspaces, Apps, gateways, and Deployment Pipelines.
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security and applying BI governance, security, and enterprise delivery standards.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, particularly OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Data Factory.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize Power BI and Fabric solutions for performance and scalability.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business requirements into scalable Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
• Design and maintain enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models following best practices.
• Develop metrics and KPI frameworks using advanced DAX.
• Manage Power BI Service environments, including Workspaces, Apps, gateways, refreshes, semantic models, and Deployment Pipelines.
• Implement Row-Level Security and appropriate access controls.
• Optimize Power BI reports and semantic models for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Design Microsoft Fabric solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Data Factory pipelines.
• Ingest and transform data from SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files.
• Support data governance, data quality, lineage, monitoring, testing, and release management.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Platform teams to deliver secure and scalable analytical solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders across different business areas and geographies.
• Review technical solutions and mentor other analysts and developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI and Microsoft Fabric performance and scalability issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate business requirements into scalable Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions
• Design and maintain enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models following best practices
