The role involves aligning requirements, designing scalable workflows, ensuring quality, and driving successful platform implementations within an international fintech ecosystem.

Qualificações

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years as a consultant in financial services.
• Hands-on experience with loan origination systems, or credit management platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.

• Drive solution design and delivery with detailed specs and workflows.
• Ensure quality with test plans including UAT and post-implementation monitoring.

About Linedata Portugal

Linedata Portugal is an established fintech software provider serving banks and lenders worldwide. Linedata Portugal specializes in credit, lending and long-term renting platforms that support loan origination, credit decisioning, and portfolio management. The successful candidate will be exposed to a broad range of credit-system implementations, international client engagements, and integration work — making this a strong opportunity to build deep, transferable expertise in financial-services technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and Align Business Needs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize business requirements for credit systems.
• Deeply understand and map existing credit processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for innovation.
• Ensure all solutions meet regulatory standards and align with organizational goals.
• Understand the specific business model and product architecture of the Linedata Portugal platform to tailor recommendations to each client context.

2. Drive Solution Design and Delivery

• Create detailed functional specifications and workflow diagrams to guide development.
• Partner with development and architecture teams to design scalable, efficient software solutions.
• Proactively identify and address potential risks or roadblocks during the project lifecycle.
• Support configuration, parameterization, and integration of Linedata Portugal modules with third-party and client systems (e.g., APIs, data feeds, core banking interfaces).

3. Ensure Quality and Performance

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Monitor system performance post-implementation and champion continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinate defect triage and resolution with product and engineering teams across the platform environment.

4. Champion Documentation and Training

• Create and maintain user-friendly documentation, including process flows, training materials, and system guides.
• Conduct engaging training sessions to equip users with the knowledge to maximize the new software's potential.

5. Manage Stakeholders and Projects

• Act as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendor contacts at Linedata Portugal.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to backlog grooming.
• Support project governance activities, including status reporting, RAID logs, and change management.
• Contribute to data migration and cutover planning during platform implementations or upgrades.

What We're Looking For

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field is required.

Professional Experience

• A minimum of 5 years as a consultant, with proven expertise in financial services.
• Hands-on experience with loan origination systems, or credit management platforms.
• Prior exposure to fintech software vendors or implementation partners (e.g., Linedata Portugal, or similar lending/asset-management platforms) is a strong plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments.

Technical Proficiency

• Skilled in tools like JIRA and SQL.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with API-based integrations and data migration between core banking/credit systems.
• Exposure to cloud/SaaS-delivered enterprise software is a plus.
