Job summary

Closer Consulting, a Data Science company, is seeking a Senior Cloud Automation Developer for a hybrid role in Lisbon. You will design and implement Azure cloud automation using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, and build CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.

You will collaborate with teams across Azure, GitHub, and ServiceNow, ensure security and governance, and continuously improve automation and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software/cloud engineering or automation.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and production operations.
• Develop reusable Azure cloud automation solutions and integrate with Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable Azure cloud automation solutions using Terraform and IaC.
• Integrate with Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, and identity platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for deployments.

• 5+ years of relevant experience, typically 6–10 years, in software engineering, cloud engineering, or automation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, enterprise integrations, and scripting.
• Good understanding of cloud security, governance, monitoring, and production operations.
• Strong software engineering practices, including version control, code quality, testing, and maintainable architecture.
• Develop reusable Azure cloud automation solutions using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Integrate solutions with Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, and identity platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for reliable infrastructure and application deployments.
• Apply cloud security, identity and access management, secrets management, and governance best practices.
• Ensure production readiness through monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support.
• Design scalable, maintainable solutions and continuously improve automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.
