• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in Data Management, Data Warehouse, or Data Platform projects.
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and data quality concepts.
• Native or fluent Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data models.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements catalogs, data dictionaries, process maps, and test plans.
• Participate in test planning activities and contribute to the definition of test cases.
• Collaborate closely with ETL and Data Engineering teams to design optimal data flows and transformation logic.
• Define and maintain data quality frameworks, including validation rules, quality controls, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes through sprint reviews, demos, and stakeholder reporting.
• Identify opportunities for improving data governance, quality, and framework capabilities.

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join an international team driving the design, development, and rollout of a strategic Data Factory Program.

In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, ETL Developers, and Business Stakeholders to build a scalable and robust data aggregation platform that serves as a centralized repository for operational and reference data.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

About the Project

The Data Factory Program aims to create a centralized Data Aggregation & Curation Platform powered by relational databases and modern ETL processes.

The objective is to consolidate operational and reference data into a single trusted repository, ensuring harmonization, quality control, governance, and readiness for analytical and operational consumption.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data models
• Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements catalogs, data dictionaries, process maps, and test plans
• Participate in test planning activities and contribute to the definition of test cases

Mandatory Requirements

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst within Data Management, Data Warehouse, or Data Platform projects
• Practical experience with PL/SQL
• Strong expertise in Data Analysis and Data Visualization
• Experience creating business and functional requirements documentation
• Experience working closely with technical and business stakeholders
• Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and data lifecycle concepts
• Native or fluent Portuguese

Nice to Have

• Experience with IBM DataStage PX or similar ETL tools
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management tools
• Knowledge of Data Profiling and Data Quality methodologies
