Job summary

eXalt-Fi in Porto, Portugal, seeks a Senior Business Analyst with 7+ years in capital markets IT to work hybrid (2 days on-site). You will collaborate with FX traders and desks on order execution, market making, aggregation and single-bank platforms.

Responsibilities include gathering enhancement requests, owning topics end-to-end, investigating issues with Unix commands, and building small Python scripts to speed up analysis. Fluent English is mandatory; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst in capital markets/front office IT.
• Solid knowledge of market players and financial products.
• FX products and/or electronic trading experience (FIX, OMS, pricing a plus).
• SQL and Unix/Linux; Python is a plus.
• Fluent English (mandatory). French is a plus.

Our client, a leading French Corporate & Investment Bank, runs its electronic FX trading IT from Paris and Porto. You will join a 10-person team of developers and business analysts working hand in hand with the FX trading desks on order execution, market making, aggregation and single-bank platforms.

Senior profile: 7+ years of experience in capital markets IT required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front office: Gather and shape enhancement requests from FX traders and sales.
• Ownership: Lead your topics end to end, from analysis to delivery, with autonomy.
