Job summary

eXalt is strengthening its data team in Porto, offering a hybrid role (2 days on site) with a permanent contract or B2B. You will bridge business stakeholders and Data Engineers, BI and Analytics teams to deliver clear data solutions.

The role requires French C1 and strong SQL/Oracle experience, with CVs in English. Based in Porto or relocating, you will work closely with French-speaking stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data specifications and tests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably on data projects.
• Advanced SQL queries (JOINs, subqueries, analytic functions).
• Hands-on Oracle tools (PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, DBeaver, SQL Developer).
• French C1 minimum and good English; willingness to relocate to Porto.

Responsibilities

• Data exploration: write complex SQL queries on Oracle tables to understand structure, business rules and anomalies.
• Turn business needs into clear technical requirements with the Data teams.
• Draft functional and technical specs, including source-to-target data mapping.
• Stakeholder support: give business teams a realistic view of the data actually available.
• Testing: design and run functional tests and technical data reconciliation.

Our client, a leading French banking group, is strengthening the data team of its IT hub in Porto. You will be the link between business stakeholders and Data Engineers, BI and Analytics teams.

French speaker role: French C1 minimum is required (French-speaking business stakeholders, specifications written in French). CVs in English only.
