Team IT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who speaks French to bridge IT and business teams on international projects. Lisbon-based with a hybrid work model, you will own requirements analysis, write functional specs and map business processes in complex digital transformations.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, ensure traceability, contribute to test planning, and maintain clear documentation while thriving in a hybrid environment that values continuous learning and impact.

Qualificações

• 2–7 years of BA experience on IT projects and digital transformation.
• Fluency in French (C1) and strong stakeholder communication.
• Experience in requirements analysis, functional specs, user stories, and process mapping.
• Hands-on documentation experience.
• Experience with Testing, Test Management and UAT.
• Proficient in SQL/MySQL and data validation.
• Understanding of architectures and SDLC; Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform requirements analysis and translate to functional specs.
• Write and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria and testable requirements.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders across IT and business teams.
• Document functional and technical specifications clearly and concisely.
• Support testing activities, including planning, execution and UAT.

Business Analyst (French Speaker) - Is that you?

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid) Experience Level: Senior Language: English (minimum B2)

• Required Skills & Experience from 2 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Fluency in French (C1) and strong communication skills for collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Proven experience in requirements analysis, functional specifications, user stories, story mapping, and business process analysis.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining functional and technical documentation.
• Experience with Testing, Test Management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), acceptance test processes, and test case definition and execution.
• Good knowledge of SQL, MySQL, database models, and data validation techniques.
• Strong understanding of technical architectures and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence for requirements management, project tracking, and collaboration.
• Solid experience working within Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging both business and technical teams.
• Nice to Have: Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Background as a Functional Assistant or within functional support teams.
• Experience participating in large-scale international transformation programs.
• Knowledge of process modeling methodologies and business process improvement techniques.
• Exposure to regulatory, compliance, or risk-related projects.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile, Scrum, or similar Business Analysis qualifications.
