Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team remotely from Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing advanced BI solutions that support strategic decision‑making across the organization. You’ll work with Power BI (Cloud & On‑Prem), MS Azure, SQL Server, and MS DevOps, ensuring high‑quality data modeling, integration, and visualization practices.

Location: Remote (based in Portugal)
Work Permit: Valid work permit for Portugal required
Languages: Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of Power BI dashboards and reports (Cloud & On‑Prem).
• Define and implement scalable data models and ETL processes using SQL Server and Power Query.
• Ensure robust BI architecture leveraging MS Azure for data storage, integration, and performance management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into data‑driven solutions.
• Manage and monitor BI workflows through MS DevOps, Daitaku, and Jira.
• Guarantee data accuracy, governance, and best practices in analytics delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior analysts when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related areas.
• Proven expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and SQL Server.
• Hands‑on experience with MS Azure and MS DevOps.
• Familiarity with Daitaku and Jira for data and project management.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, governance, and visualization best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in multicultural environments.
• Fluent in English and French (both mandatory).
