Job summary

Zühlke is seeking a Senior Brand & Visual Designer who will own our visual brand expression across campaigns, presentations, social media and internal communications. The role is hands-on: you will design yourself and help evolve how design works at Zühlke with strong guidelines, smart tools, AI and enablement.

Create and evolve visual concepts and assets, translate positioning into compelling visuals, and maintain brand guidelines and templates.

Your role

At Zühlke, our brand is how we translate who we are, what we stand for and how we want to be perceived into every interaction with our clients, employees and wider ecosystem. We are looking for a Senior Brand & Visual Designer who combines outstanding design craft with strong brand judgement and an interest in the impact design creates. You will own Zühlke's visual brand expression and bring it to life across our key communication channels and touchpoints. This is a hands-on role: you will design yourself, while also helping us evolve how design works at Zühlke through strong guidelines, smart tools, AI and enablement.

Create and evolve our visual brand Develop visual concepts and assets for campaigns, presentations, social media, reports, events and internal communications. Translate our positioning, messages and business topics into compelling visual solutions. Own and evolve our visual brand guidelines, templates and assets, ensuring consistently high quality across touchpoints. Provide strong creative judgement, review key materials and brief or challenge external creative partners when needed. Design for impact

Work closely with our digital and campaign teams to understand how creative assets perform. Use A/B testing and performance insights to continuously improve creative concepts and support engagement and conversion. Stay close to developments in design, digital experiences and visual communication, including how competitors and leading brands are evolving. Own and simplify our brand ecosystem

Own and maintain our existing brand platforms, tools and related contracts, including Brand Hub and Templafy. Ensure that templates, guidelines and assets remain current, relevant and easy to use. Continuously look for opportunities to simplify our brand ecosystem and reduce tools or services that no longer add sufficient value. Shape AI-enabled design and self-service

Explore and develop practical AI-supported design workflows for Zühlke. Help employees create high-quality, brand-compliant materials themselves through AI, templates and clear guidance. Drive a shift from central design support for every request towards scalable self-service, while keeping important brand touchpoints at a high creative standard.

What you bring

Strong professional experience in visual, graphic or brand design, supported by an outstanding portfolio. Excellent visual judgement and the ability to translate ideas, messages and emotions into compelling design. Strong hands-on design skills across different formats, with excellent PowerPoint and presentation design capabilities. Experience working with established brands, design systems, guidelines and templates. A genuine interest in how design performs, with an understanding of or curiosity about A/B testing and creative optimisation.

An eye for emerging design trends, new technologies and developments in digital brand experiences. Confidence to explain and defend creative decisions while remaining open to feedback and collaboration. A pragmatic, hands‑on mindset. You enjoy creating great design, not just directing others. Curiosity and willingness to experiment with AI‑enabled design. Existing AI expertise is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.

The ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment. You communicate confidently in English and work effectively in an international environment with colleagues, internal customers, and other technical teams.
