Jobgether is seeking a Backend QA Engineer based in Portugal for a fully remote role with a global team. You will own quality across a high-traffic platform, combining manual testing with automation in Go to validate APIs, data, and event-driven services.

You will work on REST/gRPC APIs, SQL data checks, and edge-case exploration, collaborating with engineers to ensure robust releases. Remote role with global collaboration.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional manual testing experience.
• Experience with backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience testing iGaming/fintech/transaction-heavy domains is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation in relational databases.
• Hands-on API testing using Postman; familiarity with TestRail/Zephyr is a plus.
• Ability to read Go code and extend tests; Go knowledge preferred.
• Familiar with Docker to run and test services locally.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and STLC processes.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze requirements to design comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and coverage strategies.
• End-to-end testing of transaction lifecycles (initiation, authorization, settlement, reconciliation).
• Identify edge cases, risks, and gaps not covered by specs.
• Validate data integrity across services using SQL with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Test REST and gRPC APIs with Postman, grpcurl, or equivalents.
• Validate event-driven workflows across Kafka, RabbitMQ, and NATS.
