Job summary

Qonto is seeking an Android Engineer to own mobile features end-to-end in a large Kotlin codebase. You will collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Frontend teams to ship robust Android experiences for European SMEs.

Ideal candidates excel in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM, and bring a quality-driven mindset with a passion for AI-assisted development in a fast-paced fintech context.

Qualifications

• Strong native Android experience with Kotlin and end-to-end ownership.
• Comfortable making technical decisions and reviewing peers’ work.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration across teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from discovery to rollout in a large Kotlin codebase.
• Drive technical decisions with Product, Design, and Backend teams.
• Improve reliability, performance, and test strategy of the mobile app.
• Tackle real-time sync and modular architecture challenges.
• Mentor peers and elevate Android craftsmanship across the squad.
