Job summary

Devexperts seeks an experienced Android developer to evolve our mobile trading app used by thousands of clients daily. You will primarily use Kotlin, with some Java portions and cross-compilation with iOS.

The role involves collaborating on backend-for-frontend components as part of a broader engineering team. We expect 4+ years in Android development, a BS in CS or related field, and strong knowledge of Android architecture components, multithreading, and modern Kotlin tooling.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Kotlin and Java mastery, Android framework knowledge, strong problem solving.
• Must-have: BS or higher in CS or related field, 4+ years Android experience.
• Nice-to-have: financial/brokerage software experience, DI with Dagger/Hilt, CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and refine the mobile trading Android platform, adding Compose with Kotlin flows.
• Collaboratively architect and deploy features using Kotlin.
• Participate in code reviews and refinement sessions to improve quality.
• Engage in platform-wide engineering discussions and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with product/design and other developers to turn ideas into reality.
• Lead exploratory prototyping and technical investigations.
