Jobgether is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own the Android app end-to-end, drive architecture decisions, and lead a small, autonomous mobile engineering team. You will mentor peers, collaborate across growth and product, and shape the mobile roadmap while delivering rapid, high-quality releases.

The role emphasizes product-led growth, experimentation and data-driven decisions, with remote work across Europe and potential relocation sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development.
• Kotlin proficiency and ability to ship high-quality consumer Android apps.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Views.
• Strong knowledge of Android frameworks and architecture patterns.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, Play Console and Play Store deployment.
• Proficiency with Android Studio, testing frameworks, debugging and performance optimization.
• Experience monitoring stability including crash analysis and performance metrics.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems and make independent technical decisions.
• Strong communication across engineering, product and growth.
• Product-minded with data-driven decisions; Java experience a plus; iOS Swift a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the Android application end-to-end including architecture and roadmap execution.
• Define and communicate the technical vision for mobile development with high standards.
• Lead and mentor existing mobile engineers to grow capabilities and impact.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to shape strategy and prioritize initiatives.
• Work with product and growth to improve acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention.
• Deliver a polished native Android experience with smooth animations and appropriate design patterns.
• Develop and ship features rapidly within a product-led and A/B testing environment.
• Instrument features, analyze results and use data to improve the product.
• Own the Android release process including versioning and Play Store deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues and improve stability and performance.
• Help define the future structure of the mobile engineering function as the product scales.
