We Are META in Porto is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-powered applications with C#/.NET and NLP/LLMs. You’ll translate business needs into scalable ML solutions, integrate with cloud platforms, and own CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid, Porto-based setting.

Qualificações

• 5+ years' hands-on C#/.NET experience and a relevant degree.
• 2+ years in ML/AI or data science with NLP/LLMs focus.
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with NLP tools (Hugging Face) and LLM frameworks (GPT/Transformers).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and microservices.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of trusted AI, API security, and data privacy.
• Excellent problem-solving and Agile/Scrum.
• Fluent English (B2).
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto, Portugal.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET/.NET Core, holding a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Data Science, translating business requirements into functional applications and innovative AI/ML solutions (focusing on NLP and LLMs).
• Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) alongside .NET.
• Hands-on experience with NLP tools (Hugging Face) and LLM frameworks (GPT, Transformers), including fine-tuning, deploying, and optimizing pre-trained models for specific product use cases.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), microservices, and deploying custom models.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid grasp of trusted AI practices, API security, and data privacy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and Agile/Scrum proficiency.
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for hybrid work (3 days per week onsite) based in Porto (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit).
