We Are META is looking for an AI Privacy Engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal. The role requires over 7 years of experience as an AI Data Protection / Privacy Lawyer, with expertise in legal qualifications and AI systems.

Qualificações

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an AI Data Protection / Privacy Lawyer
• Legal qualification (LL.B./LL.M./CIP/E) in an EU jurisdiction or equivalent, combined with deep technical grounding in AI systems (LLMs, RAG, agents, vector stores).
• Pragmatic stakeholder communicator — able to challenge solution design, translate legal risk into technical constraints, and operate decisively under ambiguity.
• Exposure to LLM/agent platforms (Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic) and AI governance or model risk frameworks; certifications (IAPP, ISACA, PECB, etc.) a plus.
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for Hybrid model (based in Lisbon)
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
