Job summary

VML in Portugal is seeking an AI Enterprise Technical Lead to join a high-profile enterprise AI project for a major global brand. You will own enterprise AI delivery, run client-facing discovery workshops, and influence architecture with hands-on engineering and strong leadership.

You will shape and deliver a secure, enterprise-grade AI platform built around Microsoft Azure, LLMs, and agentic workflows, balancing technical leadership with practical implementation. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing AI/GenAI solutions in enterprise settings.
Hands-on engineering experience with AI integrations and APIs.
Strong knowledge of Azure and Azure AI services.
Proven leadership of technical discovery and architecture.
Excellent client-facing communication in English.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and translate business workflows into scalable AI solutions.
Shape architecture across AI agents, orchestration, RAG and enterprise integrations.
Define boundaries between AI/LLM and deterministic app logic.
Design agent workflows, context management, tool usage, and human-in-the-loop controls.
Drive security, governance, and observability in enterprise AI solutions.
Turn discovery outcomes into architecture and actionable backlog.
Provide hands-on leadership and code reviews to engineers.
