Experis Portugal is recruiting a Senior Associate Firm Finance (M/F) to join a leading private equity multinational company. This is a full-time role based in Lisbon, with responsibilities spanning financial control across group entities, month-end close, and regular reporting.

The profile requires a Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting or related field, 5+ years of experience, IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and excellent English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Big4 experience valued but not mandatory.
• Experience in Financial Services preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.
• Strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

• Ensure the financial control of all Group entities;
• Perform month-end closing activities;
• Prepare quarterly Board and Management reporting;
• Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and audits;
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities;
• Ensure regulatory and tax compliance;
• Support day-to-day financial operations;
• Contribute to the improvement of finance processes and controls;
• Support managers and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial outputs.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field;
• More than 5 years of professional experience;
• Previous experience in a Big 4 environment is valued but not mandatory;
• Experience within Financial Services is preferred;
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS or US GAAP;
• Strong analytical mindset;
• Excellent systems skills, including financial modelling and ERP knowledge;
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken – eliminatory.
