Job summary

Tiger Recruitment is seeking a proactive finance professional to join its Lisbon hub and help build the finance function from the ground up. You will work closely with the Senior Manager to implement robust systems, support month-end and board reporting, and contribute to budgeting and regulatory tasks within an international business.

This role offers strong exposure to IFRS/US GAAP reporting, financial modelling, and ERP-related improvements, with significant opportunity for career progression

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+ years’ relevant experience (5+ years for Senior Associate level).
• Experience in reporting under IFRS or US GAAP (preferred).
• Strong systems skills, including financial modelling and ERP knowledge.
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
• Highly organised and able to manage a wide range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the in-house finance function in Lisbon.
• Support transition from outsourced accountants with proper processes.
• Take responsibility for financial control of group entities, including month-end reporting and MI.
• Contribute to year-end statements and the audit process.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, regulatory and tax returns.
• Identify gaps in controls and drive improvements across processes and systems.
• Support managers in day-to-day financial activities and drive positive change.

Tiger is seeking a proactive and hands-on finance professional to join a leading finance firm at its newly established Lisbon hub. You will play a key role in building the finance function, supporting the set-up of new systems and processes. What you’ll Do

• Work closely with the Senior Manager to build and develop the in-house finance function in Lisbon
• Support the transition of the finance function from outsourced accountants, putting in place the right structure, systems and processes
• Take responsibility for the financial control of group entities, including month-end reporting, quarterly Board reporting and MI
• Contribute to year-end financial statements and the audit process
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, regulatory returns and tax returns
• Identify gaps in controls and drive improvements across processes and systems
• Drive positive change within the team, supporting managers in delivering day-to-day responsibilities

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 3+ years’ relevant experience (5+ years for Senior Associate level);
• Experienced in reporting under IFRS or US GAAP (preferred)
• Strong systems skills, including financial modelling and ERP knowledge
• Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
