Job summary

Inspired Education Group in Palmela, Portugal, is seeking a School Business and Enrichment Manager to lead non-tuition revenue, profitability and school-level financial controls. You will oversee business planning, financial analysis, and the management of ECAs, trips and camps, while supervising the ECA Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering (or equivalent) with background in business management, financial control, or procurement.
• Experience managing billing controls, debt follow-up, and central finance/procurement workflows.
• Experience managing staff and in education, camps, hospitality, or service industries.
• Advanced Excel/Airtable skills with confidence using database systems to analyze data and build reports.
• Strong written and verbal English and Portuguese communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage annual business plans, revenue, and participation targets for ECAs, trips, and camps.
• Line-manage the ECA Coordinator, ensuring bookings, enrolments, and paperwork are on time.
• Review activity costings, capacities, and profit margins to improve financial contributions.
• Own the school-level charging process for non-tuition services like catering, transport, and exams.
• Maintain consistent student records and billing codes across software systems and Head Office.
• Track overdue accounts, issue reminders, and follow up on payment plans.
• Coordinate school purchasing calendars, check budget availability, and flag overspend risks.
• Oversee documentation controls for training expenses, school cards, and petty cash.
• Review transport route utilization and data to propose revenue opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance.
