Job summary

Inspired Education Group seeks a School Business and Enrichment Manager to drive non-tuition revenue, profitability, and strong financial controls at the school level. You’ll lead planning, analysis, and oversight of ECAs, trips, and camps, and manage the ECA Coordinator with invoicing and provider paperwork.

You will report to senior leadership, oversee procurement and expenditure checks, and translate data into actionable recommendations while upholding Inspired policies and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering (or equivalent) with a background in business management, financial control, or procurement.
• Proven experience managing billing controls, debt follow-up, and central finance/procurement workflows.
• Experience managing staff and a background in education, camps, hospitality, or service industries.
• Advanced Excel and Airtable skills with confidence using database systems to build reports.
• Strong ability to spot data inconsistencies, evaluate supplier performance, and work with IT/Head Office to fix processes.
• Business fluency in English and Portuguese with strong written communication.
• Clear, professional communication style with discretion handling sensitive financial information.
• High attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and ability to challenge discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage annual business plans, revenue, and participation targets for ECAs, trips, and camps.
• Line-manage the ECA Coordinator, ensuring bookings, enrolments, and paperwork are on time.
• Review activity costings, capacities, and profit margins to improve financial contributions.
• Own the school-level charging process for non-tuition services like catering, transport, and exams.
• Maintain consistent student records and billing codes across software systems and Head Office.
• Track overdue accounts, issue reminders, and follow up on payment plans.
• Coordinate school purchasing calendars, check budget availability, and flag overspend risks.
• Oversee documentation controls for training expenses, school cards, and petty cash.
• Review route utilization and family data to propose transport revenue opportunities.
• Monitor service levels and contract compliance for third-party providers.
