Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Lisbon is seeking an SAP Functional Trainer to deliver functional training to business users and support UAT. You will create training materials, guide end users through SAP workflows, and collaborate with global teams in a hybrid Lisbon setup.

The role requires strong SAP knowledge, experience with SAP Fiori, and excellent communication. A focus on utilities domain and onboarding new learners is included in the onboarding program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering SAP functional training to business users.
• Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or functional testing.
• Strong SAP functional knowledge with ability to explain processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP functional training sessions to business users during UAT.
• Train end users on SAP operational processes including data entry and workflow steps.
• Explain SAP and business processes in a clear, user-friendly way.
• Guide users through test execution activities and provide functional support.
• Prepare and maintain user-focused training materials and guides.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, SAP consultants, and project teams to prepare users for testing.

• Proven experience delivering SAP functional training to business users.
• Previous experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or functional testing activities.
• Strong SAP functional knowledge and the ability to explain business processes in a clear and structured way.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in creating training materials, user guides, and knowledge transfer documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a project environment.
• Fluent Spanish (mandatory).
• Relevant academic qualification or professional experience in SAP, business processes, training, testing, utilities, or related fields.
• Experience within the Utilities industry.
• Knowledge and experience with SAP Fiori.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Previous experience collaborating with distributed or international project teams.
• Deliver SAP functional training sessions to business users during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
• Train end users on SAP operational processes, including data entry, document uploads, attachments, and required workflow steps.
• Explain business processes and SAP functional flows in a clear and user-friendly manner.
• Guide business users through test execution activities and provide functional support throughout the testing cycle.
• Answer functional questions and help users navigate SAP processes effectively during UAT activities.
• Prepare and maintain user-focused training materials, quick reference guides, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants, and project teams to ensure users are adequately prepared for testing activities
• Support the successful adoption and execution of testing activities by enhancing user knowledge and readiness.
