Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Lisbon seeks an SAP User Acceptance Tester to join a hybrid team and drive UAT activities across SAP Fiori solutions and utilities environments.

You will design, execute, and document test cases, collaborate with SAP consultants and business users, and ensure defects are tracked to resolution while supporting continuous improvement in testing processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or functional testing.
• Strong understanding of business processes and translating requirements into test scenarios and cases.
• Experience writing, executing, and documenting test cases and test results.
• Hands-on defect management and tracking with JIRA or HP ALM.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience testing SAP solutions, enterprise applications, or utilities systems.
• Academic qualification or professional experience in IT, Business Analysis, Software Testing, SAP, Utilities, or related field.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications and testing.
• Experience in Utilities industry and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks.
• Familiarity with test management and reporting best practices.
• Prepare, review, and execute UAT test cases based on business requirements.
• Validate system functionality from end-user perspective and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up defects through to resolution.

• Ensure delivery readiness for production by confirming quality and business readiness before go-live.
