A leading IT consulting firm in Lisbon is looking for an AD/Server Engineer to take on a responsible role in managing Windows Server and Linux systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong TCP/IP knowledge and expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy. Qualificações

• Strong TCP/IP knowledge, including common TCP/UDP protocols.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Expertise in Active Directory & Group Policy.
• Knowledge of storage protocols (SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, NFS).
• Experience with cloud services (Azure & AWS).
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
• Hybrid AD and Exchange Online support.
• File shares management and NTFS permissions.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server (>2016) and Linux environments.
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Support hybrid AD and Exchange Online.
• Support cloud resources in Azure and AWS.
• Implement automation via PowerShell.

• Strong TCP/IP knowledge, including common TCP/UDP protocols and well‑known ports.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux.
• Active Directory & Group Policy expertise, including security and access management.
• Knowledge of storage technologies (NAS, SAN, DAS) and protocols (SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, NFS).
• Understanding of Azure VM and AWS EC compute services.
• Experience with MDE (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint).
• Advanced AD administration (cleanup, restructuring, migrations).
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware/Nutanix).
• Skills in scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred).
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server (>2016) and Linux environments.
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy (users, groups, OUs, GPOs).
• Maintain file shares and NTFS permissions, aligned with AD groups.
• Support hybrid AD and Exchange Online (including mailbox migrations).
• Perform AD cleanup, optimization, and general housekeeping.
• Monitor and manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Nutanix).
• Manage client technologies (Intune, SCCM, Endpoint Manager).
• Handle antivirus management (MDE).
• Support cloud environments (Azure VM, AWS EC basics).
