SAP PS Consultant

Role Summary

Experienced SAP Project System (PS) Consultant with strong expertise in project-driven business processes within SAP S/4HANA (On-Premise or Private Cloud environments).

The consultant will be responsible for implementing and supporting end-to-end project management solutions, including planning, budgeting, execution, monitoring, settlement, and integration with core SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support SAP PS in S/4HANA On-Premise or Private Cloud systems
• Design full project lifecycle processes: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Configure and maintain:
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Networks, activities, and milestones
• Manage project budgeting, cost planning, availability control, and forecasting
• Ensure accurate integration with SAP FI/CO for cost posting, settlement, and results analysis
• Integrate SAP PS with MM, SD, and PP where required (procurement, production, sales projects)
• Perform system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and transport management
• Conduct requirement workshops and blueprinting with business stakeholders
• Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare activities
• Optimize project accounting and reporting processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10+ years of SAP consulting experience
• Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP PS (Project System)
• Deep knowledge of:
• WBS structures, networks, and project scheduling
• Project budgeting, costing, and revenue tracking
• Settlement processes and results analysis
• Strong integration knowledge with:
• SAP FI/CO
• SAP MM and SD
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA data model and project accounting concepts
• Strong experience in SAP Activate methodology
• Familiarity with Fiori apps for Project System
