Job summary

Solvex Solutions is seeking experienced SAP Payroll Consultants to join a remote, client-facing project for 6–12 months. You will bring 7+ years of SAP HCM experience with Portuguese payroll focus, lead workshops with stakeholders, configure payroll schemas and support end-to-end implementations across international teams.

Ideal candidates will be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate fluently in Portuguese and English.

What They Are Looking For

We are seeking experienced SAP Payroll Consultants with strong expertise in Portuguese payroll processes and extensive end-to-end implementation experience. Successful candidates will be confident leading workshops, engaging with stakeholders, configuring payroll solutions, and supporting project delivery within international environments.

Applicants should possess:

• Minimum 7 years of SAP HCM experience with a strong focus on Portuguese Payroll
• Experience delivering at least five full lifecycle payroll implementations
• Strong configuration skills across Payroll and Personnel Administration modules
• In-depth understanding of payroll schemas, wage types and payroll processing
• Knowledge of SAP payroll implementation methodologies
• Solid understanding of HR and payroll business processes
• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM/HXM data structures, infotypes and database concepts
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global teams
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English
• Customer-focused mindset with strong organisational and time management abilities
• SAP certification within HCM/HXM environments

Key Responsibilities

The successful consultant will play a lead role in delivering payroll transformation projects, including:

• Gathering business requirements and facilitating client workshops
• Producing project documentation, design materials, migration plans, testing documentation and training content
• Configuring and optimising payroll solutions in line with client requirements
• Supporting data migration, testing and deployment activities
• Working closely with project managers and international delivery teams
• Identifying risks, managing issues and supporting successful project outcomes
• Contributing within Agile delivery environments
• Providing expert guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle
