Itrtech Group in Portugal is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant for a hybrid Porto/Gaia role. You will provide functional and technical support for SAP German Payroll, ensuring payroll stability, compliance and improvements.

Requirements include 5+ years of SAP HCM Payroll experience, German payroll knowledge, and fluent German and English. The position is a B2B contract with a monthly rate of €2,700–€3,000, with one office day per week.

• Extensive experience with SAP HCM German Payroll.
• Knowledge of German payroll processes, accounting and HR master data.
• Experience with SAP Payroll configuration and customizing.
• Knowledge of payroll schemas, PCR and wage types.
• Experience analysing requirements and creating functional SAP specifications.
• Knowledge of payroll posting and FI/CO integration.
• Experience with ALE technology and SAP integrations.
• Basic ABAP knowledge for analysis and debugging.
• Experience with testing, incident resolution and documentation.
• Understanding interfaces with HR, Time Management, Finance and external systems.
• Fluent German and English.
• Availability to attend the Porto/Gaia office once per week.

About the Opportunity

You will provide functional and technical support for SAP German Payroll applications, ensuring the stability, compliance and continuous improvement of payroll processes.

The position involves analysing German business and legal requirements, configuring SAP solutions, testing changes, resolving incidents and collaborating with HR, Payroll, IT and Finance teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Support and maintain SAP HCM German Payroll applications.

• Knowledge of payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules and wage types.
• Experience analysing requirements and creating functional SAP specifications.
• Knowledge of payroll posting and FI/CO integration.
• Experience with ALE technology and SAP integrations.
• Basic ABAP knowledge for analysis and debugging.
• Experience with testing, incident resolution and documentation.
• Understanding of interfaces with HR, Time Management, Finance and external systems.
• Fluent German and English.
• Availability to attend the Porto/Gaia office once per week.

The Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate has solid experience with SAP HCM German Payroll and is comfortable configuring payroll processes, analysing errors and translating German business or legal requirements into reliable SAP solutions.

You work carefully with sensitive payroll information, communicate effectively with technical and business teams, and are available for the hybrid model in Porto/Gaia.
