Evolutt in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an SAP HCM Payroll Consultant fluent in English and German to support SAP German payroll applications, ensure stable operation, and drive continuous improvement of payroll processes.

You will analyze business requirements, configure and test payroll changes, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with HR, payroll, and IT to ensure compliant payroll operations. 5+ years of SAP HCM Payroll experience is required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP HCM Payroll Consultant.
• Knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll or comparable SAP payroll solutions.
• Ability to analyze German business requirements and translate them into functional SAP specifications.
• Experience in testing, error analysis, incident handling, and documentation of application changes.
• Basic understanding of interfaces to HR, time management, finance, and external payroll-related systems.

SAP HCM Payroll Consultant – Porto | Portugal (English and German Speaking)

About the Role

The position includes functional and technical support for SAP German payroll applications, with a focus on the stable operation, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of payroll-related processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintenance of SAP German payroll applications, including analysis, configuration, testing of payroll-related system changes.
• Analysis of business requirements (e.g. workers council agreements, new labour law regulations, etc.) in the existing payroll environment and translation into suitable SAP application solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of incidents and errors in payroll processes, interfaces, and related application components.
• Collaboration with HR, payroll, IT and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and compliant payroll operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP HCM Payroll Consultant.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll or comparable SAP payroll solutions.
• Understanding of payroll processes, payroll accounting, and related HR master data.
• Ability to analyze german business requirements and translate them into functional SAP specifications.
• Experience in testing, error analysis, incident handling, and documentation of application changes.
• Basic understanding of interfaces to HR, time management, finance, and external payroll-related systems.

Preferred Skills

• SAP HCM German Payroll configuration and customizing.
• Payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll-related configuration.
• Posting interface to financial accounting (FI/CO integration).
• ALE technology for data exchange and integration between SAP systems.
• Basic ABAP knowledge for analysis, debugging, and coordination of technical adjustments.
