Minor Hotels Europe & Americas in Faro, Portugal, is seeking a Reservations Agent to record incoming calls and coordinate reservations, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

You will upsell, stay informed on sales strategies, process requests within 24 hours, and maintain knowledge of rooms, rates, facilities and promotions. Fluency in Portuguese and English, plus strong communication and computer skills, are essential.

Qualificações

• Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong commercial skills (experience in reservations management or sales valued).
• Previous experience in customer service (preferred).
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in computer tools and social media platforms.
• Availability to work with performance-based objectives.
• Proactive and flexible attitude.
• Hybrid position, offices in Faro, Algarve.

Responsabilidades

• Record all details of incoming calls and coordinate each reservation to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Encourage upselling and strive to meet monthly revenue targets.
• Stay informed on hotel sales strategies, rates, packages, group bookings and reservation status.
• Process and respond to reservation requests within 24 hours per guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room types, rates, facilities, and promotions.
• Maximise product and service quality levels and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee daily arrivals and fulfil guest requests.
• Participate in hotel events and trainings to enhance professional skills.
