Job summary

International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) in Braga, Portugal, is seeking a Research Assistant to join a multinational collaboration with a semiconductor company. The role is hands-on in the cleanroom, focusing on deposition techniques and documenting experiments.

Required are a Master degree in a relevant field and experience with ALD, thin films, and characterization. Relocation support and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Physics, Electrical or Materials Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in cleanroom or lab settings is essential.
• Knowledge of ALD and thin-film deposition methods is required.
• Ability to document experiments and report results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on tasks in a cleanroom environment.
• Conduct experiments on new deposition processes and tools.
• Grow and characterise thin films.
• Document experiments, testing procedures, results and findings.
• Operate an atomic layer deposition tool for area selective deposition.
