Job summary

INL (International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory) is seeking a Research Assistant to join a multinational team in Braga. The role involves hands-on work in the cleanroom, developing new deposition techniques, and documenting results of experiments.

You will perform experiments on ALD processes, grow and characterize thin films, and report findings. The position is 13 months with full-time/part-time options and relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Physics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field.
• Prior cleanroom or laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and thin-film deposition.
• Experience in reporting and documenting experimental work.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on tasks in a cleanroom environment.
• Conduct experiments on new deposition processes and tools.
• Grow and characterise thin films.
• Document experiments, testing procedures, results and findings.
• Operate an atomic layer deposition tool for area selective deposition.
