Jobgether is seeking a Research Engineer based in Portugal. You will build the technical foundations that enable rapid experimentation across decision systems, simulation environments, and AI-driven pipelines.

The role is hands-on, focusing on robust experimental infrastructure rather than production features, with strong collaboration with research teams to translate models into runnable prototypes and scalable workflows.

Qualificações

• Strong software engineering fundamentals in modular, reliable systems.
• Experience with experimental or research-adjacent systems.
• Familiarity with AI pipelines and data-driven architectures.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, research-oriented settings.
• Clear communication with researchers and engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build experimental research prototypes and sandbox environments.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and benchmarking tools.
• Implement experimental architectures and pipelines for testing and A/B comparisons.
• Maintain and evolve research infrastructure for reproducibility and scalability.
• Collaborate with researchers to translate models into runnable systems.
• Support system integration by identifying engineering constraints early.
