Job summary

Clavium is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operate platform-agnostic infrastructure and applications in a remote-capable role based in Portugal. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, automate with IaC, and support multi-location Linux infrastructure using OpenStack and GCP.

You’ll be part of DevOps-led cross-functional teams, enabling faster, autonomous delivery. You will collaborate with Software, Architecture and Security to drive product development, while assisting testing

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Git, Bamboo, GitLab) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
• Experience with binary repositories (Nexus, Artifactory) and code quality tools (SonarQube).
• Experience with Kubernetes clusters and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Logstash, Fluentd).
• Familiar with containerisation (Docker) and virtualization (VMware, Vagrant, VirtualBox).
• Knowledge of OpenStack, Google Cloud Platform, AWS; Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Scripting with Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby; Linux administration and network diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy platform-agnostic infrastructure and apps using CI/CD and IaC.
• Monitor and administer Linux-based virtual server infra across multi-location OpenStack and GCP.
• Support engineering teams to enable high-performing, autonomous squads and DevOps culture.
• Collaborate with Software, Architecture and Security teams to support product development.
• Assist with environment setup for manual and automated testing and on-call incidents.
• Contribute to knowledge base of platform processes and technologies; participate in disaster recovery.
